Hangzhou Yongan Commercial Building is the same with Hangzhou Food Store. Located in Guanxiangkou, Jiefang Road, it was founded in 1956 and was the first state-run food store in China after liberation. It is a member of the China Non-staple Food Industry Economic Federation. And it is one of the country's top 10 food stores. |

It is a three-storey commercial building, each floor occupying an area of 1000 square meters. The store is equipped with escalators and central air-conditioners, providing the customers with a comfortable shopping environment. One the first floor it is the food store which contains 11 counters: cigarettes and wines, nourishing food, candied fruit, tea, cookie, cakes, specialty in South China, salted and cured food, children's food, cool food, and candies. There is a small scale super market too. And there is a counter set by the store's workshop, which sells food made by themselves including all kinds of light refreshments, fresh milk and cakes. When the Mid-Autumn Festival comes, the moon-cakes produced by the workshop are fresh and delicious and are warmly welcomed by consumers. The store cooperates with Chuandian Laoma Food and Drink Co., Ltd. and sells Sichuan Hot Pot and the local food in Sichuan and Yunnan on the second floor which has a deep local flavour. |
