1. Organization, resources and guarantee system. Subordinate units of ZIEIC are:
- First to fifth branch corp.--undertakes comprehensive engineering.
- Shanghai branch corp.--undertakes comprehensive engineering.
- Air separation corp.--installation of large industrial equipment.
- Design institute--designing and engineering consulting.
- Central test institute--testing and commissioning of equipment.
- Technician training center--training of skilled workers.
ZIEIC has also established two joint construction ventures.
Among the 957 technical and financial professional personnel in ZIEIC are 46 persons with senior titles and 238 persons with intermediate titles. The total number of 3840 skilled workers in ZIEIC are classified to engage in various types of technical jobs, including welders, electricians, and crane drivers. All carry out their work with qualification certificates from the government administration.
- ZIEIC possesses the following construction equipment:
- 1500 ton tower crane; 10 30-ton gantry cranes; 8 80-ton lorry-mounted cranes; all types of hoists, heavy duty trucks, and fork-lift trucks.
- medium frequency hydraulic pipe-bending machines (dia. <=630mm) and other types of pipe-bending machines; plate benders (thickness 40mm); bevelling machines; hydraulic presses; all types of machine tools.
- all types of welding machines and non-destructive flaw detectors.
- test and commissioning instruments for a complete set of power supply and distribution equipment and automatic meters.
ZIEIC is setting up a quality control system in accordance with IS09000 standards and making a series of confirmations which will provide clients with products and services in strict accordance to IS09000 standards.
ZIEIC has the licences to install large steam boilers, hoisting equipment, fire protection facilities and electrical equipment as well as testing and commissioning below 35KV. ZIEIC also has security confirmation certificates for large and dangerous equipment. ZIEIC has the capacity to install large industrial equipment and grand civil buildings. This capacity has been more than sufficient to handle the projects ZIEIC has undertaken during last ten years:
